In the twilight of the war, as Earth adapted to the knowledge of the Cybertronians inhabiting their planet, a humble Autobot engineer by the name of Zoom-Zoom struck out on his own, adapting Cybertronian technology to human needs. After the war he opted not to return to Cybertron and instead embedded himself deeper into human society; he took on the new name of Zoom Attinger and founded Zoomtech, an engineering firm dedicated to bridging the gap between Cybertronian and Terran tech. This was deemed controversial by humans and Cybertronians alike, the former fearful of what such rapid advancements would bring if not safely done and the latter incredulous to the possibility of humans arming themselves with Cybertronian weaponry.
